December 09, 2014 Dewey International School — American Curriculum led by Neak Mang, Kimberly Townsend and Nam Dam celebrated International Human Rights Day. It was not only the 66th anniversary to commemorate the day in 1948 the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, but to also let its students as a young generation get to know more about their rights and ways to effectively use it under the law of the country.

It was our honor to have a distinguished guest , , Mr. Nuon San, Royal Prosecutor of Battambang Province, attend the event.

There were about 500 people including students, parents, teachers and DIU’s associates celebrating the event. Student activities such as a speech contest and talent show helped the day pass smoothly, happily, and thoughtfully from the beginning until the end.

This event ran well because of the hard work of our teachers, DIU’s associates and students. Special thanks to them.
